Here in Edmonton Centre, I hear every day from people working to build a healthier, more connected community — for themselves, their families, and their loved ones. |
But we also know that many men and boys are facing real challenges when it comes to addressing mental health, preventing harm, and accessing care — and too often, these struggles go unheard. |
That’s why our government has launched a national conversation on Men and Boys’ Health — and your voice matters. |
We’re working to develop Canada’s first-ever Men and Boys’ Health Strategy, and your input will help shape what comes next. |
Have Your Say:
Whether you’re sharing your own experience, supporting someone in your life, or working in this space — we want to hear from you. |
Canadians can now share their perspectives through an online consultation open until June 1, 2026. |
For Organizations and Community Leaders:
If you work in health, social services, education, or community support, we encourage you to share your expertise. |
We’re accepting written briefs on how our new government can best support men and boys — including reducing stigma, promoting healthy relationships, improving access to mental health and addiction supports, and addressing key life stages and transitions. |
Submissions should be up to 1,000 words and are due by June 1, 2026. |

Building Canada Strong starts with all Canadians feeling supported, connected, and able to access the care they deserve. This is an opportunity for Edmonton Centre to shape a strategy that reflects real experiences and makes our country stronger. |
Thank you for being part of this important conversation. |

All my best, |
